Job Title: Part-time Supervisor of Hermosa Beach School Crossing Guards
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our leadership team in Hermosa Beach. Our mission is Keeping Kids Safe, and we rely on strong leaders like you to help us achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage local Crossing Guard programs
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the safety of children at school crossings
Leadership Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality
- Has reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift/transport items or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
- Able to work flexible shifts before and after school
- Previous supervisory experience (1-2 years preferred)
- Basic computer skills required
This position requires quick response times to the job site, so candidates residing in or near Hermosa Beach area are highly preferred.
Compensation:
$21.50 per hour, dependent on experience. Work 4 hours a day, school days only. Eligible for yearly bonus and mileage reimbursement.
