Part-time Field Supervisor of School Crossing Guards in Apex and Cary, NC

ACMS is looking for a dedicated individuals to join our leadership team in Cary and Apex! Leadership is the heart of our mission, “Keeping Kids Safe”. The Leadership Team is ultimately responsible for overseeing and managing their local Crossing Guard programs in this field based position. This is a field position that allows individuals to work from home, but requires regular visits to assigned crossing guard intersections.
Leadership Qualifications:
- Be self-motivated and dependable.
- Be personable, out-going, friendly and enthusiastic.
- Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Able to lift/ transport various items or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and must have successful completion of a Criminal Background Check.
- Availability for shifts both before and after school.
- 1-2 years of Supervisory experience.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- This position often requires short response times to the job site so candidates in or adjacent to Cary or Apex is preferred.
Compensation is $17.00 an hour, up to 10 hours a week, as needed. May fill in as a Crossing Guard as well. Work school days only. Position is eligible for yearly bonus and mileage reimbursement.
