Overview
We are a custom upholstery shop seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers while helping to keep the shop's schedule and communication from clients organized.
Duties
- Greet and welcome customers to the shop in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel/detailed message taking.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure it is presentable at all times.
- Schedule estimates, repairs, and customer pickups.
- Assist with light administrative duties such as filing, document preparation, and correspondence.
Skills
- Proven experience in a front desk or receptionist role.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective phone etiquette to handle calls professionally.
- Ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Strong administrative details.
Schedule
The ideal candidate will be available to work 15-18 hours a week for at least 3 days of the week between Monday and Friday.
