Purpose
We are seeking a Parts Sales Consultant to join our team. Our Parts Sales Consultants collaborate closely with our customers to identify the best solutions for their agricultural and turf equipment needs. This role plays a crucial part in representing Prairie State Tractor to our customers and communities.
Responsibilities
- Sell parts and services to customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Represent Prairie State Tractor professionally and positively in all interactions with customers and the community.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of essential parts to meet customer demands.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand customer business operations to provide tailored solutions that meet their specific equipment needs.
- Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely availability of parts required for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with the entire Prairie State team to deliver excellent service and follow-through to both prospective and existing customers.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office products and standard computer applications.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in agricultural and turf equipment repairs.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, promoting trust and satisfaction.
