All Creatures Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our 3 doctor hospital. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, friendly, compassionate, professional, organized, and a team player. Must be comfortable being around a variety of animals (dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and birds).
The customer service representative is the client’s first contact when calling or visiting the practice and as such represents the professional image of the practice to callers and visitors. The customer service representative answers telephones, greets clients, prepares patient files, updates clients financial records, and receives and relays client correspondence. Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks are essential for this position. The exceptional customer service representative has the ability to diffuse negative client situations and foster client relationships.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Greeting client and pet in a friendly and professional way
· Answering multiple phone lines
· Keeping accurate medical records
· Data entry into our practice management software
· Appointment Scheduling
· Collecting Payment
· Responsible for incoming and outgoing clients and patients
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Clerical receptionist duties such as scanning, photocopying, faxing, and email correspondence
· Maintain hospital organization and cleanliness
· Patient handling as needed
· Other duties as assigned
A minimum of 1-2 years veterinary reception experience and excellent phone skills are required; previous employment in a veterinary clinic setting is required. Strong computer skills a must.
Please note that this position requires the ability to work weekends and holidays.
This is a Part-Time position requiring flexibility.
