Veterinary Assistant

All Creatures Veterinary Clinic has an opportunity available for a Veterinary assistant to join our practice, located in Spokane Valley, WA. Approximately 20-25 hours a week. You will be supporting our Doctors and Technician teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. The ideal candidate has experience in maintaining medical records; Helping to prepare surgical suite and surgical patients; Maintaining Hospital cleanliness/appearance; filling prescriptions; preparing laboratory work, animal restraint; and providing compassionate care to hospitalized and visiting pets.

No previous experience required, BUT pay depends on experience, which means that a person's pay is based on skills and many years work experience one has in the veterinary field.

Clinic Schedule:

We're open Monday to Friday, with weekends off and one day off during the week.

All Applicants should have a semi-flexible schedule, be available to work 10-12 HOUR SHIFTS and all non-major holidays.

Yes, you must be drug free to apply for this position. That includes the drugs legal in state, but not Federally. ;)

This position requires 10-12 hour shifts, with the ability lift at least 50 lbs. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check as well as a personal/professional reference check and DRUG SCREENING. Candidates must have reliable transportation daily. Candidates must be at least 18 years.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
