We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch grooming services to pets.
Duties
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment
- Provide basic care such as nail trimming and ear cleaning
- Interact with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Monitor pets for health issues and report any concerns to the pet owner or veterinarian
Skills
- Experience in pet handling and animal restraint
- Knowledge of various grooming techniques and styles
- Familiarity with different breeds of dogs and cats
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to pet owners
- Certification or training in pet grooming is a plus
- Previous experience as a veterinary technician or in pet care is beneficial
