All Energy Solar is seeking a full-time Regional Event Specialist to join our Minnesota events team. You will report to the Marketing Event
Manager and will help plan, oversee and execute All Energy Solar’s presence at regional in-person and virtual events. You will creatively help the marketing efforts for each event through social media posts, eye-catching promotional items and working with the rest of the marketing and events team to have engaging, educational materials at our booth. Events include in-person trade shows, fairs/festivals and conferences along with virtual webinars.
The ideal candidate has an enthusiastic, positive attitude towards handling the multi-step event process from start to finish; including finding community events for us to participate in, coordinating staffing, being onsite to set up brand activations and creating a thorough recap with post-event data. This position requires high energy and strong organizational skills that will drive events to effectively communicate All Energy Solar’s mission to see more people switch to solar energy.
This is a hybrid work position, though weekly event preparation, set up, and attendance in the greater Twin Cities Area and on-site company meetings at our headquarters in St. Paul will be required.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Supporting the Marketing Events Manager in strengthening the Minnesota event marketing strategy and plan by analyzing zip code data and finding local events to invest in.
- Planning and managing all assigned Minnesota marketing events by helping identify, coordinate and assemble required event items onsite
- Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events.
- Booking staff and coordinating details for their onsite shift for each event.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory and directory of event marketing materials, making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating refills of items as needed.
- Continually seeking and researching new sources of prospective events while providing recommendations to the Marketing Events Manager.
- Build relationships with local ambassadors and identify opportunities for them to participate in solar parties.
- Support digital marketing efforts for virtual events such as quarterly webinars, create social media posts for weekend event line up and distribute digital materials to event partners.

Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience coordinating events or brand activations.
- Ability to see the big picture and strategically align events with overarching company goals.
- Skilled in project management, coordinating multiple brand activations over one weekend.
- Innovative and resourceful; actively seeks opportunities to take a leadership role in the execution of improving the event planning process and attendee experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite/Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Calendar, Forms, Docs, Gmail) or related software.
- Ability to work with teams and collaborate.
- Positive, professional attitude, take pride in work product.
- Exceptional client service skills and enjoys working with the public.

- 1-3 years of events coordination, tradeshow, or project experience experience and high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience considered.
- Regular availability to work evening / weekend for onsite set up / tear down of brand activation.
- Valid State driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must complete and clear an MVR (motor vehicle) background screen.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (frequent).
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move 50 lbs. regularly while transporting event supplies and setting up the brand activation (frequent).
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Must be able to transport and drive for short and long distances for work related events.
- Must have reliable transportation to bring event items on-site.
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a full-time, exempt salaried position with an expected base salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 annually (DOQ).
