All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing trauma-informed behavioral health services to individuals and families in our community. Since 1956, we have been a trusted advocate for those affected by trauma, offering comprehensive care through mental health counseling, case management, and recovery support.
We are expanding our services become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), a model that enhances mental health and substance use treatment by integrating crisis response, primary care coordination, and whole-person care. Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of relevant experience OR HS diploma/GED with six (6) years of relevant experience.
Relevant experience includes but is not limited to experience in nonprofit development, community engagement, donor development/relations, or similar field.
What will I do as the Community Development Specialist- Donor Relations with All Faiths?
This position is responsible for providing support in all aspects of development, donor relations and events. Development support includes maintaining donor database, donor correspondence and cultivation as well as playing an active role in organizing and selling the various events the agency hosts each year.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities preferred to perform:
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication skills.
- High degree of interpersonal competency; ability to work well with diverse groups of professional staff, Board members, donors, volunteers, and external partners.
- Ability to handle multiple high priority activities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Teams, Zoom.
- Knowledge of Donor Perfect database beneficial.
- Possess a Valid Driver’s License.
- Successful completion of all new hire and ongoing background verification processes.
