What are the responsibilities and job description for the Young Infant Child Care Teacher - Part Time position at All God's Children Daycare Center LLC?
We are looking for an enthusiastic child care teacher to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the care and safety of our youngest students, infants from 6 weeks to 12 months of age. The hours for this position are 7:00 am - 5:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You will work as part of a teaching team to provide quality care and a nurturing environment for all students.
Duties
-Implementing lesson plans and activities
-Following daily and individual schedules
-Preparing and feeding bottles and baby food
-Regular diaper changes
-Following all state rules and center policies for child care
-Frequent cleaning and sanitizing
-Nurturing, rocking, interacting
-Creating and facilitating art and craft projects
-Daily record keeping
-Daily communication with parents and other staff
-Completion of on-going training online and in person
Requirements
-at least 18 years of age
-high school diploma or GED
-ability to pass a federal (FBI) and state (BCI) child care background check
-a medical statement completed by a doctor
-physical ability to lift and hold at least 20 pounds
-physical ability to bend, squat, stand, and sit on the floor frequently
