Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman to lead our teams. The Foreman will play a crucial role in managing and supervising crew members, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual with leadership skills and a passion for outdoor work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise mowing crews to ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards
- Schedule and assign tasks to crew members, optimizing productivity and workflow
- Operate zero turn mowers and other equipment as needed
- Train and mentor crew members on proper mowing and trimming techniques
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles, reporting any maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, and completed jobs
- Coordinate with the management team to plan and execute projects
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous experience in landscaping or lawn care management
- Proficiency in operating zero turn mowers and landscaping equipment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
