What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Servicing Specialist position at All In Credit Union?
Do you have a knack for attention to detail and enjoy being able to help members achieve financial freedom? As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you will be able to assist in ensuring accurate and timely completion of post-close servicing of all loan files that directly affect the financial freedom of All In Credit Union members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist branches and departments with questions concerning credit reporting, loan corrections and modifications, and skip/extension requests.
- Manage, review, and update member e-Oscar (credit reporting) disputes and inquiries.
- Assist members by phone, email, and mail in reference to questions concerning e-Oscar disputes.
- Complete accurate and timely updates and deletions to credit files via e-Oscar.
- Ensure proper recording, tracking, imaging, and indexing of all e-Oscar updates and deletions.
- Accurate and timely corrections to post-close loan files.
- Accurate loan payment reversals, recasts, and receivable adjustments in an event of incorrectly posted payments.
- Accurate post-close maintenance to loan files in the event of a funding error.
-Manage, review, audit and provide reporting on the Credit Union’s Skip-A-Payment campaign.
-Accurate and timely review, reporting and completion of exceptions to the Skip-A-Pay campaign.
- Accurate and timely completion of due date modifications and payment extensions.
- Monitor post loan reporting and perform appropriate account maintenance, corrections, and payment postings.
- Accurate modification of post-close loan files in related to deceased accounts.
- Ensure proper recording, tracking, imaging, and indexing on all loan modification and corrections.
- Assist Lien Perfection Specialists in lien perfection and release as needed.
- Assist Insurance Specialists in maintenance of Collateral Protection Insurance, Debt Protection claim filing, Gap cancellation filing, and total loss claim completion as needed.
- Assist the Loan Operations Manager as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience: Up to three years of similar or related experience.
