PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Create a positive and individualized experience for each patient
- Build rapport with patients
- Seat patients and take X-rays
- Wellness scans using Intraoral scanner, Itero software navigation/ patient education
- Update patient information in Dentrix as needed
- Utilize Dentrix for scheduling patient recare appointments
- Assist dental hygienist in educating patients in proper oral health
- Work alongside dentist during patient examinations to assist dental hygienist in being more efficient when needed
- Assist dental hygienist with charting probing depths
- Disinfect operatory and prepare room for patients as needed
- Communicate with coordinator on dental treatment needed for patients
- Prepare hygiene bags
- Stock hygiene rooms and monitor hygiene inventory and other ancillary duties

Experience/Requirements
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required)
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
- Coronal Polish Certificate (Preferred)
- Intraoral scanning experience (Required)
This is a very hands on job position, that requires dental knowledge, good patient communication and the ability to work independently.
