Job Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Duties: Answer calls, welcome and register patients, schedule appointments, collect payments.
- Medical Scribing & Transcription: Sit in on medical visits, chart patient encounters, manage medical records, transcribe notes and documents.
- Medical Assisting: Take vital signs, set up for procedures, assist medical providers, maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Please note: This is an on-site position, not remote.
Hours & Pay:
- Part-time: 2-4 days per week
- Weekday hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 15-40 per week
Must-Have Skills & Qualities:
- Strong computer & fast typing skills
- Excellent writing, spelling, & grammar
- Above all, the person must have amazing attention to detail. (If you are a person who makes spelling mistakes, doesn't follow through or gets bored with repetitive tasks, this would not be a fit.)
- Clean & professional appearance
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Ability to work both independently & on a team
- Strong customer service & communication skills
- Enjoys working with diverse populations & different age groups
- Self-motivated & able to complete tasks without supervision
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and planning abilities
- Empathy & compassion for patient support
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills
- Medical assistant or CNA certification
