A/V Technician

All Lines Technology is seeking a skilled and versatile AV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment, as well as providing IT support and performing break/fix tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audio-Visual Support:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in real-time to ensure seamless presentations.
  • Collaborate with event organizers to understand AV requirements and provide technical support.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on AV equipment.
• IT Support:
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies.
• Break/Fix Tasks:
  • Diagnose and repair hardware failures and software issues.
  • Replace or upgrade components as needed to maintain optimal performance.
  • Document and track all repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an AV Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with network protocols and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , CTS) are a plus.
