All Lines Technology is searching for an IT Technician in Apollo, PA. The IT Technician is a support team member responsible for technical support of our client's Hardware and Software at the building level. The IT Technician staffs a central office Service Desk location at CAO and facilitates efficient and effective support of staff to avoid disruptions to the learning environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Opens work tickets and manages support workflows
● Manages departmental communications
● Fields incoming support requests by telephone, ticketing portal, and walk-ins
● Maintains accurate and detailed problem records
● Monitors district equipment and responds to trouble alerts
● Provisions and manages user accounts
● Provide training to staff
● Support Hardware & Software Platforms
● Fulfill other duties and tasks assigned by supervisors
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
● Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMETNS:
● Knowledge of basic computer hardware support and repair.
● Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows and Mac OS X
● Extensive application support experience.
● Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
● Strong customer focused skills to work with users on defining needs, addressing issues and answering questions.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
● Analytical and problem-solving abilities
● Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language
● Highly self-motivated and directed
● Keen attention to detail
● Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
● Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
