Technology Set-up and Delivery Technician – Technology Division
Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm, with an hour for lunch
Job Description
Responsible for assembly, configuration and delivery activities of Technology products including but not limited to: Copiers, printers, and other technology products. Duties also include controlling inventory, as well as maintaining the warehouse facility, installation equipment, and supplies. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and configuration of technology products, including, but not limited to copiers, printers and various technology products
- Ability and comfort of operating a box truck, (No CDL required), with Hydraulic lift ramp.
- Ability to move heavy equipment
- Assist in receiving product, verify box and packing slip counts, and inspect product for freight or any visible damage
- Assist in documenting receipt and any damage on bill of ladings and packing slips.
- Assist in staging and storing product in the Technology warehouse, noting location on all stored product for easy identification
- Pulls product for orders being locally delivered and shipped out of the warehouse
- Assist in Identifying product received and pulls work/purchase order paperwork as appropriate; matches product received
to work/purchase orders.
- Handles all products in professional manner, minimizing damage or potential damage by others
- Assist in accurately documenting daily Picking Ticket for the inventory database, all customer inventory in and out
transactions; tracks any internal movement of customer product.
Delivery Responsibilities:
- Assist in deliveries, detailed daily self-routing of delivery schedule.
- Delivery/Install include occasional travel to clients outside of Omaha for All Makes branch locations, Columbus and Kearney
- Ensure that required product, supplies are on board for daily deliveries
- Delivers product to client site, unloads, meets client or site contact
- Communicates throughout the day with team members
- On return of truck, make sure any return product is moved to designated area and is covered/protected and fully
documented
- Clean truck of trash and debris
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Must be able to read and understand Bill of Ladings
- Clean driving record
- Truck driving experience
- Punctual
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Work independently with sense of urgency to get work done
- Professional in appearance and good oral and written communication, and customer service skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
