Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
- Utilize aseptic technique to prevent infection and promote patient safety during procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning by educating patients and families about post-hospital care and resources available.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient treatment plans.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Perform venipuncture for blood draws and IV insertions as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in urgent care situations by providing immediate attention to critical patients when necessary.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and CT procedures to support diagnostic processes within the clinic setting.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical unit or related clinical setting preferred.
- Strong skills in patient care, aseptic technique, discharge planning, and urgent care practices.
- Knowledge of anatomy and familiarity with CT procedures is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

- Number of beds in unit/unit size - 30
- Clinician/patient ratio - 1:6
- Average number of patients cared for daily in unit - 30 BED UNIT
- Types of diagnoses and patients care for in unit – Level 2 trauma center
PERKS
- Relocation fee and applicable details - Yes - If applicants current residence is 50 – 300 miles from their primary work location; $5,000. If applicants current residence is > 300 miles from their primary work location; $7,500
- Sign on bonus and applicable details - $15,000-$20,000 depending on RN II or RN III experience level
