Position Title: Specimen Collector
Location: Brentwood, TN 37027
Coverage Type: Temp/Ongoing (Full-Time)
Schedule: 

• Monday - Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Closed: Wednesday, Saturday - Sunday

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Target Start Date: 3/3/2025
Attire: Scrubs with comfortable closed-toe shoes  

Description: The Specimen Collector will work in a clinical setting collecting urine samples from patients. Other duties include obtaining accurate and complete demographic information, completing requisition forms and maintaining supplies inventory. A minimum of at least 6 months of specimen collection experience or recent Medical Assistant externship is required for this opportunity.  Client will not accept anyone who does not have a medical background in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:
-Specimen collection, including urine samples
-Complete lab requisition forms
-Obtain patient demographics
-Appropriately label and ship specimens
-Use EMR, or LIS system

Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma and/or GED at minimum
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a medical office environment working with patients directly (facility environment)
