**Job Summary**: We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnician to join our team at All Medical Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining daily records, ensuring optimal laboratory operations, and providing technical consultation.
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain accurate records of slides screened and hours worked in the laboratory and any outside employer per procedure manual.
- Communicate effectively with department supervisors, pathologists, and coworkers to ensure smooth operation of the department.
- Provide technical guidance to Cyto-processing technicians and assist with prep work as directed by the supervisor.
- Maintain high proficiency and current knowledge through ongoing education and training.
- Comply with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
**Requirements:**
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Cytotechnician is required.
- Cerner or EPIC experience is preferred.
- A High School Diploma/GED is the minimum educational requirement.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in cytotechnology or a biological science, along with certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), is required.
