What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neonatal NP or PA position at All Medical Personnel?
Specialty accepted : Neonatal NP preferred; will consider Pediatric NP or PA with experience in newborn nursery, high-risk neonatal delivery, and resuscitation skills.
Start date or shifts : Coverage needed as soon as credentialed. Specific dates include :
March 3-4, 9-10, 15, 23-24, 29-31
April 1-3, 24-25, 29-30
May 1-3, 17-20, 25-26
June 3-5, 14
Daily schedule : 24-hour unrestricted call shifts, includes nights and weekends.
Practice setting : Inpatient Only
Types of procedures : Intubation, UVC placement, surfactant delivery, arterial puncture, NRP.
Number of patients : 3-5 newborns per day.
Ages : Newborns.
Requirements : BLS (AHA) and NRP certification required; must respond to codes; ICU / Critical Care duties not required (more than level 1 nursery will be transferred to Maynard s Children's Hospital).
Additional information : No requirement to remain on-site while on call; no backup ER responsibilities.
