What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver 1 position at ALL METALS PROCESSING OF ORANGE COUNTY LLC?
1. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
Pick-up and deliver product.
2. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/KEY RESULTS REQUIRED:
Understand paperwork and certifications.- Knowledge of COD’s and necessary paperwork.
- Ability to read Thomas Guide map book.
- Operate a forklift safely.
- Insure truck is loaded safely.
- Date stamp incoming purchase orders and insure purchase orders are stapled to blueprints.
- Label all incoming hardware.
- Assist in packaging parts for shipping.
- Insure gages go with product.
- Follow vehicle safety checklist.
- Responsible for keeping vehicle clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned by foreman.
3. WILL ACT AS BACK UP FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Drivers will act as back up for other drivers.
4. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Good driving record. Knowledge of Southern California freeways. Ability to read maps. Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English fluently. Must have forklift certification.
