What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electroplater 1 -CAD - 2nd Shift position at ALL METALS PROCESSING OF ORANGE COUNTY LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the direction of the department Supervisor, the Electroplater is responsible for performing the plating of metallic parts to
enhance corrosion protection and / or abrasion resistance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plans processes and sequence of the operation to complete plating.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches or specification to set the voltage and amperage required.
- Dips the metallic parts into acid tanks to clean parts.
- Dips the metallic parts into finishing tanks and monitors parts.
- Performs visual inspection of plated parts as well as inspection tools to ensure uniform plating on all surface areas are completed.
- Racks parts before and after plating.
- Logs data into computer for completed parts and processes.
- Adheres to safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :
ITAR REQUIREMENT :
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the
