What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver-Helper/Laborer 1 position at ALL METALS PROCESSING OF ORANGE COUNTY LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the direction of the department Supervisor / Manager, the Helper / Laborer – Forklift driver is responsible for removing oil and contaminants from customer supplied product as well as to bake parts as required for stress relieving purposes customer supplied product. Drive and control the forklift, a motor vehicle which is used to transport heavy good around the premises of the company. Forklift Driver will need to load up heavy boxes or crates onto the forklift, carry it to designated places and unload them off carefully.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for identifying and degreasing the parts based on the job ticket.
- Performs visual inspection looking for nicks and dings
- Responsible for completing the stress relief and embrittlement of parts by baking them
- Manages and maintains logs of jobs
- Responsible for moving carts or pallets of material between departments by Forklift.
- Adhere to safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
