What are the responsibilities and job description for the Masker 1 position at ALL METALS PROCESSING OF ORANGE COUNTY LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the department Supervisor, the Masker is responsible for applying tape to product parts prior to applying metal finishing chemical and trim tape on parts with a variety of different equipment and tools
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies, cuts and applies silicone, masking tape or other specialized tape to use during the masking of specific parts from work order forms.
- Places parts on and off racks as needed.
- Prepares and packages parts for shipping.
- Adheres to safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions.
- Ability to apply tape to all parts.
- Comfortable using basic tools.
- Comfortable around chemical environment.
ITAR REQUIREMENT:
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the
employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting/Standing for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Comfortable being exposed heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.
- Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
