Warehouseman
Warehouseman will report directly to Operations Manager.
Job Overview
Organizing, maintaining, and executing household good storage-in and storage-out for All My Sons Moving and Storage.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Storage Vaults (move, build, repair), warehouse organization.
- Inventorying Household goods during Storage-in and Storage-out using AMS processes in place.
- Help Oversee daily Pre and Post trip inspections with drivers, Perform Daily Truck Equipment / Material Inventory, Pulling / organizing equipment, and material needed for following day’s jobs.
- Training of new team members, and ongoing training with current team members, road testing new driver candidates.
- Shuttling trucks to and from Penske/Ryder for fleet preventive maintenance / repairs.
- Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the operations team such as light management duties.
Qualifications:
- Forklift Certification Required (or ability to get one)
- Experience in household goods
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Be professional on the phone and in person
- Be DOT Certified or can become DOT certified.
- Must have a valid unencumbered Driver License.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Compensation Structure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25/hr
