Job Title: Hardscape Foreman

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardscape Foreman to lead the daily operations of our hardscape installation crew. This hands-on position is responsible for managing high-end residential and commercial hardscape projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hardscape construction, proven leadership experience, and a passion for creating exceptional outdoor spaces.
What You'll Do
Crew Leadership & Site Management
Supervise and work alongside a crew on installations including patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and more.
Coordinate materials, equipment, and daily work assignments to maintain productivity and quality standards.
Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.
Train and mentor crew members to develop skills and ensure safety and performance standards.
Project Execution
Interpret and execute landscape plans and construction drawings with precision.
Operate and maintain equipment such as skid steers, compactors, saws, and other construction tools.
Monitor material use, site layout, and workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
Adapt to changing conditions on-site and adjust schedules as needed.
Communication & Documentation
Report daily progress and material needs to the Operations Leader or Project Manager.
Maintain accurate jobsite documentation, time records, and material usage logs.
Participate in inspections, walkthroughs, and project closeout tasks.
What You Bring
3 years of experience in hardscape construction (pavers, walls, stonework, etc.)
1 year in a foreman or crew lead position, preferably on high-end residential or commercial projects
Ability to read and interpret landscape and construction plans
Proficient in the use of jobsite equipment and power tools
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
Working Conditions
Outdoor work environment year-round
Regular lifting, bending, digging, and machine operation
Some travel to job sites required based on project locations
