We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Security Manager to oversee the daily activities and management of our security teams, including armed security guards, while ensuring all protocols and standards are maintained. Job Overview

The Manager of Security Operations will lead, manage, and supervise our security teams, ensuring effective operations and a high standard of security at our client sites. This role requires a leader with law enforcement experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to mentor and manage a diverse team of security professionals. Security Manager will work in liaison with a Director of Operations to create and implement Security Drills, Emergency Response Procedures, Post Orders and liaison with the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee security team performance, including armed security guards, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and implement training programs for security personnel to maintain high standards of security and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular assessments of security operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage security staff schedules, ensuring coverage for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain and review security protocols, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Handle conflict resolution and respond to emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintain clear and accurate records, including reports and logs, related to security activities.
• Liaise with law enforcement, as needed, to ensure effective emergency response protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must have law enforcement/ Military experience (minimum of 3-5 years preferred).
• Proven leadership and management skills within the security or law enforcement sectors.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid firearms permit and/or CCW.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security management or law enforcement.
• Strong understanding of security technologies, protocols, and regulations.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to follow protocol while leading a team.
• Ability to assess risks and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and ongoing random drug testing.
• Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Must reside within commuting distance to the greater Los Angeles area.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in private security, corporate or high-risk environments.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and social levels.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management related to security operations.
  
  

Compensation:

• Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. 87k- 95k
