Summary

Reporting to the VP of OSTG of ANG, the Content Marketing Manager will help shape the content strategy, establish content creation processes and editorial standards, drive content effectiveness metrics, and develop and drive execution for the content calendar. As an inquisitive and data-driven content marketer, the successful candidate will continuously evaluate and initiate strategies to measure and improve content performance across marketing channels. The Content Marketing Manager will also partner across the global marketing team including but not limited to product and customer marketing, digital marketing, demand generation and creative resources.

 

Works with leadership of key stakeholder teams to define and implement a company-wide content marketing strategy and content management process, including product marketing, customer marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, creative, technical alliances, and sales and channel partner enablement.

Help produce, act as editor & reviewer, and ensure all categories of content align with core All Native Group branding, including solution briefs, social and email marketing content, presentation content, and web copy

 

 

Essential Functions

  • Planning and managing industry conference meetings and networking opportunities, events and meetings by identifying, coordinating and assembling and submitting requirements for the events, communicating assignments and schedules working with the business sector and department leadership maintaining events calendar management, and providing logistical support for events to include booth management and customer interfacing, shipping materials, planning receptions/network/special activity meetings for ANG during events, etc. Assisting with the setup, facilitation and completion of marketing events.
  • Support and create content for internal and external marketing demands for all ANG departments including but not limited to: HR, Operations, Business development, Legal and Finance.
  • Document, oversee and drive continuous improvement of the process for content creation and lifecycle, from conception through delivery of final asset including its subsequent versions.
  • Project tasks also include creating customer/ special guest briefings/presentations, targeted customer alerts, blogs, BD newsletter updates, and assisting with developing and managing content and social media marketing projects and activities/targeted focus projects with ED
  • Write/edit content for different platforms such as social media, website, and press releases working with ED and BEM/ Create, proofread, and edit copy ensuring consistent voice
  • Build and stick to an annual budget for the department including company giveaway items, conferences, advertisements, team salaries, and corporate memberships.
  • Maintains inventory and directory of BD marketing and support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation when needed
  • Formatting and desktop publishing skills needed to support a variety of activities to include developing graphs, charts, and other visual aids for documents
  • Support and provide relevant information for meetings with government personnel to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Assist with Winnebago community efforts, community events/outreach. Connect with corporate to collaborate with various companies to community initiatives.
  • Continue to grow and maintain the “company brand” through consistent maintenance and outreach. Create content for internal and external usage.
  • Will eventually manage a direct report, providing general management functions.
  • May be requested and required to participate in Proposal Support functions due to expertise

 

 

Competencies

  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Experience with U.S. Federal Sector Business Development is preferred
  • Knowledge of government solicitation documents, including standard RFP structure
  • Excellent problem solving, organization and time management skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to organize and present ideas clearly and logically.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize time between regular duties, ad hoc requests, and higher-level corporate priorities/initiatives
  • Business Travel for conferences and customer meetings, as needed up to 15% is expected.
  • Must have a professional, upbeat attitude and have an outstanding customer service aptitude
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Provide additional administrative marketing support to ANG leadership as required.

Work Environment

 This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word.  Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Frequently the standard office equipment moves up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Evening and weekend hours are required, as required by business need.

 

Travel

 Travel is expected to be up to 15% of the time for this position.

 

ExperienceTwo (2) years’ experience working in B2B technology marketing, content or communications

  • Excellent writing, editing and content packaging skills
  • Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities across teams
  • Proven content development process knowledge

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or other complimentary discipline or equivalent experience

 

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with staff across all functions and their leadership, and external stakeholders including agencies, contractors, partners and customers
  • Experience with MS Office suite and ability to create, format, and manipulate Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and develop PowerPoint presentations and SharePoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Team Player capable of working within a collaborative environment.
  • Administrative work ability, preferably in a sales or marketing environment, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the functions of the job
  • Self-starter who exhibits attention to detail and expert organization skills.
  • Strong customer service/customer-facing skills.
