Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain the general ledger accounting system and ensure all entries are correct.
- Analyze accounts and prepare reports on financial status as needed.
- Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits and tax preparation.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
Qualifications
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles related to bookkeeping.
- Experience with account analysis and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or related fields preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
