Lead Mover/ Mover Helper

Overview
Hello to anyone reading this. Raschel and I are the owners of AOM. We are currently seeking 2 to 3 people to add to our small local company. Moving is hard work and it takes a different kind of person to do this kind of thing each day. At the end of each day, we are moving the entire life of someone and we want to ensure anyone hired in will take pride and care about that persons belongings while we move and transport them. With that being said, there are 3 ways to make money in this industry. Hourly work, tips, and free furniture given from jobs. On top of that you also have complete control of your schedule with us. We are one of the few companies that allows you to see all upcoming jobs. If you need every weekend off, no problem. I just need to know so I don't overbook our company. This isn't your average 9 to 5 job but this is a job that is extremely rewarding. Each day is different, each house is different, and furniture will always be different. But our company is one of the strongest in the area and that is solely because of the men we have working here currently. This is a place where hard work and dedication will never go un-noticed. Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture and boxes from trucks
- Safely transport items to their destination
- Provide excellent customer service during the moving process
- Drive box trucks or vans to transport goods
- Handle delicate items with care
- Follow instructions for proper packing and securing of items

Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse or moving environment is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Experience driving box trucks or vans is a plus
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
- Valid driver's license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
