What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist position at All Paws Dermatology and Allergy?
Do you love working with animals AND the people who are attached to them? Do you want to work Mondays-Thursdays with shorter days on some Fridays (and no evenings/weekends/holidays) in an office dedicated to skin care of dogs and cats? Are you a person with a positive attitude, ability to self- motivate and prioritize, who can work with accuracy and speed and has great attention to detail? We require 2 years of prior veterinary experience. Excellent computer and telephone skills are a must as we are working curb-side. The right candidate will be very Covid cautious and will be fully vaccinated (with initial series and additional booster when eligible unless documented religious/ medical exemption). Employees are provided with N-95 masks to wear while in the office. You will be collecting histories, collecting cytologies, assisting performing venipuncture, assisting in completing medical records, preparing medications, returning phone messages/texts/ emails, inventory management, scheduling appointments and helping to clean office in between patients.
