What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist and Technician position at All pets animal hospital?
Applicant needs to have excellent computer, technology, multitasking and people skills in addition to confident pet handling skills and pays close attention to details. This is a very active, fast paced job where each day is exciting and different. Open and honest communication with the employer and teamwork is important. The job entails front reception work with the computer and directly with clients and client records, and transactions. There is tech work such as blood work, restraining pets, cleaning and walking dogs. Kenneling for dogs, cats and exotics is also a part of the job. We will train for the position and it is best to have some experience handling and interacting with small pets. Need to be available for scheduled weekends, school breaks and employer selected holidays. It is required that the candidate live in the city of Ames, Iowa. Need full resume and 3 employer, manager, non-relative or non-friend references. Vaccination for covid is desired, records for current tetanus vaccination is required.
