We're looking for a hands-on Controller who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to bring structure, insight, and strategy to our financial operations.

About the Role:

This isn’t your average Controller role. You’ll be the financial backbone for several growing businesses, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to guide strategic decisions and ensure the financial health of the entire organization. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow while building systems that scale with us.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition across multiple entities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for leadership
• Build and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tools
• Implement and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and best practices
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate and improve existing accounting systems and processes
• Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and marketing teams to support financial planning
• Lead and develop a growing finance/accounting team
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and President

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a controller-level role
• Experience managing finances for multiple entities or business units
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial best practices
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong communicator who can collaborate across departments and with leadership

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in advertising, print production, distribution, or nonprofit sectors
• Familiarity with job costing or project-based accounting
• Hands-on experience helping companies scale

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
