We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in computerized tomography (CT) imaging to support a busy ER and inpatient department. This is a 3-day, 12-hour night shift position, offering 36 hours per week.
Shift Details:
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Hours: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Department: Cat Scan
Required Certifications and Licenses:
Valid NYS license with IV injection certification
CPR certification
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
Proficiency in working with Siemens CT equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage computerized tomography (CT) equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
Correctly position patients for scans, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Perform routine warm-up sequences on CT scanners to maintain equipment efficiency.
Maintain strict sanitation protocols by sterilizing radiologic equipment.
Interpret and follow doctors' written instructions for imaging procedures.
Administer radiocontrast agents as required for diagnostic accuracy.
Review and evaluate CT scans to ensure they meet technical quality standards.
