Job Summary:
The Director of Operations will lead all aspects of site operations, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, while working closely with teams in Finance, Quality, HR, and Environmental Health and Safety. This role requires strategic planning, budget management, and a focus on continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
The Director of Operations will lead all aspects of site operations, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, while working closely with teams in Finance, Quality, HR, and Environmental Health and Safety. This role requires strategic planning, budget management, and a focus on continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Employee Safety and Food Safety systems
- Maintain a 98.5% customer service level by managing production and supply chain operations
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices to drive continuous improvement
- Achieve annual cost-saving goals of 3-5% by improving efficiency and reducing waste
- Develop and oversee annual business and strategic plans for the facility
- Participate in new product development and oversee product implementation
- Manage daily schedules and operations to align with company objectives
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Engineering or Food Science)
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a production facility, with 3 years as a Plant Manager
- Preferred Background: Experience in the food industry
