Job Summary
We are seeking a local Software Engineer III to join our dynamic Software Solutions team in San Diego, CA . This role requires an experienced full-stack developer with expertise in Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and AWS . You will work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team to design and develop cutting-edge software solutions.
Important : Only local candidates will be considered. No relocation candidates.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and Angular .
Build secure GraphQL APIs and integrate RabbitMQ for event-driven systems.
Design microservices architectures with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
Deploy applications on AWS (EKS, RDS, and other managed services) .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and optimize existing solutions.
Utilize CI / CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code for continuous delivery.
Develop software compliant with regulated industry standards (IEC 62304 for medical devices).
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and software engineering .
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred) OR equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in full-stack software development .
Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and JavaScript (Angular for UI development) .
Hands-on experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems .
Advanced proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Kubernetes (EKS) .
Experience with GraphQL and RabbitMQ .
Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code .
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in regulated environments (medical devices preferred) .
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database - Specialty ) are a plus.
Understanding of healthcare data integration and compliance (HIPAA) is a plus.
