Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Oracle Developer to join our team and contribute to a large-scale education project supporting Texas’s 1200 school districts. In this role, you will be responsible for advanced database development and integration, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality reports and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and support databases using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Develop and integrate databases with Java applications.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including database and Jasper reports development.
- Document technical specifications and processes.
- Identify and resolve bugs in core and PEIMS projects.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- 10 years of experience integrating databases with Java applications.
- 8 years of experience in unit testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
