Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing financial statements and related reports.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on financial data and analysis.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax preparers, and other financial consultants.
- Manage and mentor accounting team members, if applicable.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
