We have a commercial roofing client looking for people to assist with several projects they are working on. Locations for the current jobs are in Jacksonville.
Roofing Laborer Job Summary
Our client is looking for an experienced and dependable Roofing Laborer to join our installation team. Prior residential or commercial roofing experience is a plus, but not mandatory. In this position, you will inspect the client's roof for leaks or other problems, tear off old materials, and install new roofing materials. You must know how to handle tile, composition, shingle, cap sheet, and other roofing components. We expect all team members to be attentive to our clients, act professionally while on the job, and clean up thoroughly once the project is complete.
Roofing Laborer Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect and test roof for leaks
Suggest necessary repairs
Repair leaks and other roof problems
Install new roofing materials or complete a full reroofing when necessary
Follow all safety protocols
Roofing Laborer Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
At least 1 year of professional roofing experience
Proficient with industry equipment and hand tools
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Pass a background check and drug test
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
You will need your own reliable transportation and ALL PPE
