We are looking for a dynamic, experienced leader to join our team as the Assistant Director for our Registered Nursing (RN) Program. In this dual academic and administrative role, you will deliver high-quality instruction, serve as a dedicated student advocate, and, when needed, step in for the Program Director to oversee program administration in full compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
**Instruction & Student Support**
- Teach assigned nursing courses with excellence.
- Provide academic and clinical support as a student advocate.
**Administrative Duties**
- Lead the overall administration of the RN Program in the absence of the Program Director.
- Ensure the program meets all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to continuously enhance program quality and student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
**Education & Teaching Experience**
- Master’s or higher degree with coursework and clinical in nursing education, nursing, education, or administration.
- A minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a pre- or post-licensure RN program (associate, baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral levels).
**Clinical Experience**
- At least one year of continuous, full-time experience (or equivalent) as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
**Licensure & Certifications**
- Possession of all necessary certificates, licenses, and registrations required for the courses taught.
- A clear and active RN license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) with the appropriate Instructor designation.
