Job Summary:
As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform ultrasound imaging to evaluate heart muscle, chambers, valves, and vessels. Working closely with cardiologists, you will conduct diagnostic exams, analyze findings, and contribute to patient care decisions.
Qualifications:
✅ Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience
- Moderate Sedation Training
✅ Licenses & Certifications (Required):
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (ARDMS) OR
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) OR
- Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS)
- CPR/BLS Certification
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Perform echocardiographic imaging, including stress echo and treadmill assessments
🔹 Operate ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes, and document findings
🔹 Review medical records and adapt techniques for accurate imaging
🔹 Ensure equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory
🔹 Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards
