What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Sterile Processing Technician position at All's Well?
Basic Summary:
Perform onsite decontamination, inspection, assembly, high level disinfection, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment to Surgical Specialty (OR), Clinics (Specialty, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Dental, Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic (ENT)), and other departments that may require Sterile Processing services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs, the range of Sterile Processing Service as would be provided in a state of the art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of the quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by Office of Sterile Processing (VA Governing), Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Disease Control (CDC), and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

- Update to date Immunizations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB, Flu Shot)
