Join Us as a Child Welfare Specialist
We’re looking for an experienced licensed DCFS Child Welfare Specialist to make a real difference in the Lockport/Chicago area.
What You'll Do:
- Provide compassionate case management services and ensure children receive essential medical, dental, and emotional care in a safe environment.
- Collaborate with foster parents, biological families, and community agencies to achieve case goals and participate in case meetings and court hearings.
- Serve as a resource for Spanish-speaking communities and assist in foster parent recruitment.
All You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
- At least one year of Foster Care/Child Welfare experience.
- DCFS Child Welfare Employee license.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized.
- Valid Illinois driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel around surrounding communities.
