Clinical Director – Substance Use & Mental Health Services (Women & Children Focused)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of women and children impacted by substance use disorders? We’re seeking a dynamic Clinical Director to lead and elevate clinical services within a well-established, client-centered recovery program.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical management and coordination of services for women and women with children recovering from substance use disorders. This leadership role includes supervising and supporting clinical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards, and fostering a trauma-informed, safe, and empowering environment for recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of outpatient mental health and substance use programming, including trauma treatment, life skills education, and referrals.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical team members.
- Ensure compliance with CARF, OhioMHAS, and Recovery Housing Standards.
- Champion a culture of respect, safety, and accountability rooted in trauma-informed care.
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment for staff and clients.

- Traditional and intensive outpatient treatment

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- LISW or LPCC license required
- 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience
- At least 1 year in a leadership role (director, supervisor, or manager)
- Valid driver’s license required
