Inpatient Hospice Clinical Manager (RN)

Are you a compassionate and experienced nursing leader looking to make a meaningful impact in hospice care? We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Hospice Clinical Manager (RN) to oversee daily operations and lead a team of skilled clinicians in providing exceptional end-of-life care.

Position Overview :

Reporting to the Executive Director of Clinical Services, this role is responsible for supervising an assigned clinical team, including RNs, LVNs, and Hospice Aides. The Clinical Manager ensures high-quality patient care by coordinating staffing, overseeing operations, and maintaining compliance with hospice standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage staffing and scheduling to meet patient census needs.
• Oversee inpatient hospice operations and ensure smooth coordination with the Intake Department.
• Lead weekly IDG meetings and facilitate interdisciplinary communication.
• Provide daily rounds and maintain familiarity with patient conditions, care needs, and psychosocial aspects.
• Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring competency and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support staff with electronic documentation and ensure compliance with Point of Service standards.
• Prepare the team for Joint Commission surveys and maintain survey readiness.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide staff training, and ensure adherence to agency policies.
• Train and guide staff in critical thinking and clinical best practices.
• Participate in on-call triage and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Hospice Medicare Benefit Program and other regulatory requirements.
