Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care (Full Time & Part-time)

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL 32701

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with some weekends required)

Pay: $55 - $65 per hour (based on experience)

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Wound Care to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL. This is a Hybrid role, requiring you to work at both our main office in Altamonte Springs and the wound care center in Altamonte Springs, with possible travel to Apopka, FL. In this vital position, you will work closely with our MDs to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex wounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist MDs in seeing and managing wound care patients in both outpatient and hospital settings.
• Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including evaluation, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Provide wound care treatments, dressing changes, debridement, and other necessary procedures.
• Educate patients on proper wound care techniques and self-care practices to promote healing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Support the Wound Care Center team in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on wound care.
• Preferably experience in Internal Medicine or as a Specialist.
• WOCN Certification is mandatory for this role.
• Rounding Experience is required.
  
  
  

Skills & Knowledge:

• Expertise in wound care management and advanced wound healing techniques.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
