What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Grade Teacher position at All Saints Catholic School?
All Saints Catholic School is seeking a full-time 3rd grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. All Saints is an established Catholic school with an amazing culture. We are looking for people who are passionate about teaching, modeling what Christian virtues look like, and Molding the next generation of leaders for our church, country and the world.
The Responsibilities Include:
- Promoting the mission and vision of All Saints Catholic School
- Implementing our rigorous standard-based curriculum
- Engaging students in learning
- Applying concepts of differentiated instruction to reach learners who are struggling or working at levels beyond the curriculum.
- Using the significant technology that we have in the building to strengthen the teaching and learning in the classroom. This includes smartboards, chrome books, iPads, and online platforms such as google classroom.
- Establish a classroom management approach which fosters student independence and confidence while maintaining high standards of behavior and decency.
- Creates a clear communication system with families and embraces our sense of community in that communication
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
State teaching certification appropriate for 3rd grade
or currently working with an accredited alternate certification program
