Responsibilities
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine installation requirements.
- Perform frame carpentry to ensure proper fitting of windows and doors.
- Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, measuring, and securing installations.
- Apply caulking to seal gaps around windows and doors for energy efficiency.
- Conduct remodeling tasks as needed to accommodate new installations.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in window and door installation or related construction fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
