1st Shift- Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Pay Dependent on Experience, preferably with electric forklifts and reach trucks, as well as RF handheld scanners for inventory movements.

Job Summary:

Warehouse Order Pickers are responsible for picking packaged products for labeling and shipment out to customers, using our handheld RF Scanners; as well as, a variety of warehouse tasks, including, but not limited to picking materials stocked in the warehouse to be used in production, loading and unloading trucks, and unloading container shipments for storage in warehouse facilities. All of these tasks involve frequent use of warehouse machinery such as a forklift, pallet jack, wrapper, picker machine, turret truck, and other warehouse equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate various motorized lift equipment to perform routine tasks including, but not limited to, product movement, stock handling, and assisting in loading & unloading shipments as needed
• Pull all finished goods for orders using RF scanners
• Assist in putting raw materials and finished goods in the correct zones after receiving
• Daily operating duties which may include loading & unloading trucks (as assigned), filling pull orders, stock repackaging, recording tracking numbers, and shipment staging
• May float between job tasks from filling, loading, labeling, and sanitation in a variety of zones based on the needs of the business
• Cleaning & sanitization along with zone/warehouse cleaning & maintenance as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping floors, and removing the trash daily

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -

• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
• Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills

Experience, Education, and Training -

• High school diploma/GED required
• Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is subject to the following requirements:

• To see, talk, and hear
• Use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type
• Walk, sit, stand, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Exposed to strong aromas of spice, allergens, and particulates in the air
